Welcome to the Wedding Bells App, created for the wedding of Sourish and Mandira. This app provides a personalized experience for guests, including customized invitations for both the bride’s side and groom’s side. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and delete your data.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Information

When you sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture. We also collect any information you provide for RSVPs, messaging, or customized invitations, including guest details, dietary restrictions, and personal messages.

Usage Information

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the app, such as features accessed, invitation customization selections, event views, and timestamps of your activities.

Device & Location Information

We collect device information such as device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers. If you use map or navigation features, we collect location data solely to provide directions to wedding venues.

Communication Information

When using calling, messaging, or calendar event features, we collect only the necessary data to complete these actions (phone numbers, messages, event details). This data is used only for app functionality and is not stored permanently unless required.

4. Account Deletion & Data Retention

In compliance with Google Play policies, you have the right to permanently delete your account and all associated personal data. When you delete your account:

  • Your Google account will be used to verify your identity before deletion.
  • All personal data, RSVPs, guest information, and customized invitations will be permanently removed from our servers.
  • Event history, messages, and notifications will also be deleted.
  • This process is irreversible; once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including Firebase Authentication and Firestore security rules, to protect your data from unauthorized access. While we strive to ensure security, no method of online transmission is completely risk-free.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with:

  • Service providers necessary for app functionality (e.g., Firebase)
  • Legal authorities when required by law
  • To protect safety, rights, or property of users or wedding hosts
